What is the DEAL ROOM?
The DEAL ROOM is the place where creative projects can be financed by the TALENT POINTS earned by the members of HowUDoWin.com. It's the virtual wheel-and-deal room, in which Creatives dream of getting some funding, and you have the power to help them make that dream come true! It is in this room that magic happens: Creatives connect with Fans, Fans connect with Creatives, and projects come to life. Shazam!
What can I use the DEAL ROOM funds for as a creative?
- Musicians can utilize funds for studio recordings and managed tours.
- Filmmakers can use funds for the production and distribution of their films.
- Artists can sell paintings and use the funds for gallery shows and for managed tours.
- Authors can use the funds for managed book tours and distribution of their literature.
Isn't it fun to have money to spend that did not come from your own pocket?!
How do I get into the DEAL ROOM?(no badge required!)
With five simple steps:
1. Sign into HowUdoWin.com and create a profile.
2. Read the super-official Terms Of Service explaining how the financing works and how the funds are handled.
3. Create a PROJECT profile describing to the community your project, current status, requested budget, and planned use of the proceeds. Employ your creativity to appeal to Fans!
4. Your project will then go through our approval process. We will reject any projects that we deem to be of a pornographic nature, hate-filled, or that exceed an R rating. X-rated is not in our alphabet here!
5. Once approved, your project will be available for our members to give you their TALENT POINTS. That's when the fun begins.
What happens when I am financed?
Your project and its funding are turned over to our professional management and production partners who make sure that the expression of your creativity and project are polished to perfection. You will be working with some of the best producers in the industry and will have a fast track to real distribution!
I have TALENT POINTS! How do I give them to a project of my choice?
(Oh, the decisions!)
Click on the project of your choice. Then click on the SUPPORT bar and assign as many TALENT POINTS as you wish, in multiples of ten and up to the total number of TALENT POINTS that you own.
What do I get if I give my Talent Points to a project?
A lot! It is very important that you choose your project wisely, as you will own a share of that project after it is funded, produced, and in distribution. When it goes into distribution, all the members who gave TALENT POINTS share in 20% of those net proceeds. (see terms for details). What goes around comes around! (and awesome bragging rights)!
